I bought a CE Discovery webcam some time ago and lost the softwear...I have searched all over the computer and I cant find anywhere to download the softwear...If you know where to get this softwear for this camera Please help...or can i use some other softwear..I just want to get this webcam running....

i have a creative labs sound blaster aduigy sound card at 24 bit
what can i all do to it to make it top of the line with out buying a new computer and i want it to be "cool"

'Power surge on hub port. A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message'. The thing is, I have nothing connected to any of my USB ports. So what is wrong?? I am using an HP. Its driving me nuts, i click on it, the close the usb port that is highlighted, but the message pops up again. I just don't know how to solve it coz i have nothing connected:-(

It doesn't record my mic I'm thinking because i have to change the setting to tell it what is my MIC but i don't know how I have the audio settings set to my sound card but shouldent it switch to the mic when i change from out to mic? oh and my MIC is a USB connection and I dont have the mic selected in the mixer options under record because I want to be able to switch back and forth fast by just selecting mic and output under the record options using my sound card I want my soundcard selected and be able to swtich back and froth when I click mic and the mono out option......

Looking for someone who knows which of these 2 diffrent graphics cards would best run Guild Wars.
Nvidia Geforce2 or a Geforce Fx5200
And if its the Fx5200 (which is in my other comp) can i take the Geforce2 card of this comp and swap it with the Geforce Fx5200

I recently discovered the problem to my lag was I didn't havea video card ahhahahha (lol). Anyway my cousins neighbor (hes a computer tech guy) is going to sell me a X1950 Pro for $150 bucks, still in box, he took it out to make sure it worked and put it back in box. Is this a good deal? Its a X1950 Pro 256mb, not sure the bit interface or the producer (saphire, etc) but I know it's an Radeon. Is this a good deal? Its probably one of these video cards:

Also, I really DON'T care about mail-in rebates or the total amount I could save purchasing it online (like 10$ or something with that mail-in rebate, shipping not included). Hello there and thanks for looking, i have a strange minor problem i just cant work out, my computer first came with 512mb ram, which for what i used had no real memory problems, i recently upgraded to 2gb ram, which as i posted here before that it only reads 1.75gb, 2 people told me the computer took 256mb from it to use for graphics which i thought was real strange since it never did that before even at 1.5gb but couldnt go higher, but im no pro so i just have to believe what i have been told,

now back to my main question:

i recently installed internet explorer 7 to see what its like and actually i think its cool, but for some reason when i visit multiple pages it chews into the memory like a family dinner, not sure if anyone has noticed but once memory is lowered the (file,edit,view) section of explorer dissapears, which never had that problem before until E7, i just want to know is there a problem with my ram or E7 uses alot of memory, any ideas for what i can do, please???

Just been given a new wirless mouse - no instructions though! I plugged the USB thingy in and switched it to ON , on the mouse itself but nothing happens. There isnt any light coming on although there is a red glow light on the USB . Have tried it on my p.c and laptop. What am I doing wrong?

the virus is now removed but so are my files that were in there. is there a program that really works great and is free? also like to add that i was in a different state when this happened, it was on my brother's computer..so does that matter? can i still recover the files by plugging the external harddrive into my computer?

my computer won't detect my logitech quickcam communicate webcam even though the driver's installed and the USB is plugged in, it says a new USB device is detected by the logitech program as well as other audio recording programs doesn't detect it. Is there any way to fix this problem?

I have a cd recorder and writer on my comp and recently purchased an external dvd writer (samsung). when I installed it it took the place of my cd drive. When I go to copy a dvd it (the dvd writer) is reading the dvd I want to copy but when its done and it tells me "insert blank dvd" its telling me to put it in my "D" drive which is the cdrom drive and it is the only choice. How do I install it so I can use both separately?
