That is just a PS2 cover. IT does NOT affect the PS2 functions at all. However, you can put in/out the disc without resetting the machine. IT's kind of pointless to do so, cause you need to rest the machine if you wana change a game.

That is just a cover for the slim PS2. It will not change how the PS2 reads CDs. The PS2 should play burnt CDs anyway.
