This link is from the Logitech website on your camera. You might find out what chipset you have and see if you can work through this issue.

You have confused the issue. What audio pgms have to do with webcam ? ( with built in mike ? what is the make ?)
1 Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager.
Look for yellow mark for webcam. under Human Interface devices. Check properties and try update driver.
2 Also select "Universal Serial Bus Connectors" and check
properties.
3. Better uninstall and try auto detect by Windows.. Keep your LogiTech installation CD ready.

Restart or turn off your computer.

That usually helps sometimes if you have trouble with your webcam showing up and then suddenly not showing up at all.

If your webcam was working before perhaps a system restore would help to recap whatever you might have done that could have caused the webcam to not be detected.

Try different USB ports, download the drivers/software from Logitech's website again, and go to Windows Explorer or My Computer (usually you'll see a link that shows the camera).

Go to Start > Right click on My Computer > Click on Properties (I believe) and then from there check to see if your webcam is disabled or conflicting with something else in the hardware section.

Uninstall the software/drivers for it, reboot your PC, and then reinstall them.
