Running windows XP; I keep my music on an external hard drive. Since I bought the hard drive, it has been recognized as "E" when I view "my computer". Now it shows as "F" and the program cannot find the music files. All of them have "E" attached. How do I get this back so I don't have to re-import 260 CD's? Any help is appreciated. And no, I am not using a different USB port. This just happend.

Are there any limits to the file extensions they support? For instance, can they be used to hold applications written in languages like C++, assuming that the program's small enough?

I just got Cyberlink PowerDVD 6.5 and for some reason when I put any type of DVD format cd's my computer won't even read them. They won't even load up. All that comes up is a little CD next to the mouse and it blinks on and off then goes away and nothing happens after that. I tried trouble shooting and it tells me that I might need a DVD decoder. is that it? Also if so where can I get a free decoder?

Recently I bought an Adaptec game bridge. This allows me to use my laptop screen as a monitor to play xbox360 on. Today in the mail I got my windows vista upgrade for my laptop, I installed it, I barely had anything saved up my computer so I didnt use the recovery disks.

When i went to reinstall my gamebridge, there is this little green light that should go on when I plug the usb connector into 1 of my 3 usb ports. I pluged it into the port i was using originally and the green light did not turn on. Then I plugged it into the port on the right side and it installed fine.

Then I uninstalled it it again and plugged in again to both usb ports on left side of my laptop to no avail. Now the only thing that works on the left side is my mouse. Anyone know wuts wrong?

These is my current computer:
Asus P5RC-LE
Pentium4 524 (P) HT 3.06 GHz
512 MB of RAM
Integrated graphic card
200 GB SATA 7200 rpm

I'm planning to upgrade my RAM to this http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...
or this http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...
I also want to upgrade my power supply to around 600W

Now my question is, if I decide to buy a Geforce 8800, can my computer handle it after the upgrade or will I need to upgrade my motherboard and processor too to get this to work?
Or should I stick with DX9 cards like the ATI x19xx or Geforce 79xx?

Should I upgrade anything?
