Microphone help?

I was able to use it fine just last week, havent touched any volume, controls, etc, and now it doesnt work.. any suggestions on what i can check to see if its my mic or my computer thats not allowing it to work? thanks

First I would check the volume settings in Windows Mixer. Open the mixer, click Options, Properties, Under mixer device choose your soundcard, then choose recording options, at the bottom ensure microphone is checked and that it's volume is at a resonable setting.

Also, you could right click my computer, click properties, Hardware tab, then look for your sound device. If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to your sound device, you may have to reinstall the drivers.
