I'm going crazy. I just spent $125 to get a Video Card for my computer that I bought from Walmart 2 years ago. I play the Sims 2 and once I got to Open for Business expantion pack the walls on my houses and create a family started to blink red. I went to Best Buy today and had the Geeks check it out. He said I had no Video card and told me that was all I needed to get it to work right. I went to Walmart and got ATI Radeon Viscon Tek 9250 PCI for $75. My brother installed it and I had something happen to where I had to buy a new CDRom Drive which cost me another $45. So I get home and install my Sims 2 games and expect no problem. WRONG I still have the blasted red flashing walls. What could be causing this problem. I really don't want to spend another day at Best Buy for this. Before I bought the sound card I had Direct X 9.0 which came with the computer. I'm stumped. Please IM me if your serious about helping out.

I bought a new TV tuner card made by Sabrent. I installed it on my PC and I can hear and see the TV signal from my cable TV. When I record the video records correctly but there is no sound. When I click the record button I get the error message "Cannot render audio capture stream". Can you tell me how to fix this?

The tuner card is a PCI card I inserted into my PC. It comes with a junction cable that I connected from the audio out of the TV tuner card to the audio in of the computer's sound card. I also tried connecting from the audio in of the TV tuner card to the audio out of the computer's sound card but that didn't work either.

I've sent a message to Sabrent for help but I probably won't hear from them for 36 hours. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you run antivirus/anti spyware scans? Can you defragment it and use the other system tools? Is it safe to do these things?

i just bought a digital camera and it came with a secure digital card reader/writer. i tryed installing it with the cd but it says it will only work with a windows 98 and but i have a windows xp. is there anyway to make it so i can use the reader? i bought the camera on ebay so i dont know what to do.

What are the pro's and con's of buying a high-end 5.1 speaker set compared to a low end one ?

Would it be worth an upgrade from a usb sound card (by Trust) to a PCI sound card ?

Would it be worth the upgrade from Trust 1600p 2.1 Speakers to Logitech 5.1 z-5500 would I notice a BIG difference ?
