CD RW stands for CD ReWritable. Rewritable CD allows data to be erased and write again several times.

That's supposed to be the idea, but it's often not the truth. If you're writing data to the disc (documents, programs, etc.) then yes, you may be able to. However, if you use a media player to make an audio CD, a certain formatting is required to make the disc playable by most players (versus none without a format). And said formatting "locks in" the data on the disc.

You cannot delete a thing like a memory stick.as it is not a electronic device it is a optical device,so u can rewrite them. but using packet writing software like Incd u can copy to a cd like a memory stick but it can be used like that on the computer on which the cd is formated with incd.but it cannot be used on other computer
even though incd is on that computer.
