I can't hear anything from my speakers, and i can't use nothing with souund what can I do? or how I can install the volumen control?

I am planning on getting a TV tuner for my Windows computer (at least something I can connect a VCR up to, but can also record live TV), and there's an external one available at Staples/Business Depot, but it says it requires an antenna or analogue cable source. I have neither (I have a digital set-top box). Can I still use a tuner card, or do I need to get analogue cable or an antenna?

I have a :

- Kingston KVR : KVR400X64C3A/512 2.6V
- Infineon Azenram DDR0330 HYB25D256800BT-5 C2

Both are 512 MB and PC3200 and 184 pins.

Are they "mixable" ?

Someone told me it could mess up my motherboard but i used them for about 1 year now.

Why would they be incompatible ? They are both DDR400 and PC3200. Is this a question of CAS latency ?

In my motherboard manual, it says :
In dual-channel configuration, always install and identical (same type and size) DDR DIMM pair on sockets of the same color.
Always install DIMMs with the same CAS latency.
For optimum compatibility, it is recommended that you obtain memory modules from the same vendor.

What should I do, throw my second 512 Mb to the trash ?

Can i put 1 in one socket (blue) and the other one in the other (black) ?

can anyone help me? I only have 1 usb port on my computer, my mouse has a usb connection but when i plug it into a usb 4 port hub it does'nt work. There is no fault with the hub as my printer and scanner work when plugged in. I have got the correct drivers installed for the mouse.

I have a western digital usb external hard drive full of music and stuff that was hooked up to my pc windows laptop. Can I just plug it into the macbook usb and have it read the songs. Or do I have to convert files, format the ext hd or something else?

ok heres the deal i tryed burning a music cd and a data cd and niether will burn. it seems to be working until the end when it says and problem occured and the burn process failed. I tryed writing the files to a cd usong nero and wasted about 15 and now im using a cd-rw and trying to write a data file using windows the cds are memorex and capable of X12 burning. I tryed buring at 8 then 2 then 1!~ and none worked. It reads cds but wont autoplay them you have to go to my computer to open cds and it doesn't read cds real well. I tryed reinstalling nero.

I just burned a CD yesterday using Windows Media Player (Windows XP), now I'm trying to burn a CD and the songs have "Ready To Burn" beside them, however when I click "Start Burn", it starts, then immediatley stops and doesn't burn anything. Is there something configured incorrectly? I know the problem does not lie in my PC... What needs to be done? Thanks for your help. :-)

I have a Dell Dimension 300 and im runnin windows xp SP2, ive got 256Ram and i need more because my computers become considerably slow, ive got one more slot to fill im thinkin of buying an extra 512 to fill the slot but when i look on a site like dixons 512DDR options come up but theres different ones to chose from eventhough there all 512 i just wanted to know the difference and what to buy (what wud be the best for me)

I want to upgrade my PC's memory from 512 mb to 1gb. I currently have a DDR2 PC2-5100 512mb stick. Why are there different ones eg PC3200, PC5300. Whats the difference? If i got 2 512mb sticks and add them to the motherboard with my current one, would my total memory be 1536mb?

I ran into this free computer the other day. It's an old Sony Vaio with 4 GB HD, 32 MB RAM, and a pentium II proc. This is currently the only computer I have and I am looking to upgrade.

Would it be worth it to by an external hard drive and 1 GB memory for it and upgrade to XP? I will mostly be using it for Photoshop/Illustrator, surfing the net, music/ipod, burning CDs/DVDs.

And how hard is it to upgrade memory on a computer like this. Possible costs?

I appreciate any and all comments/suggestions. Thank you!!
