My palm is grossly oversized for a normal mouse; my fingers dangle over the edge of the mouse, making for (generally) uncomfortable computer use. Any XL mice manufacturers out there?

Have you tried the wireless mouse. You get it at wal-mart. It is the largest I have seen. Also there is a site here for you. Variety of sizes...

Your hand gets cold because it is open, and away from your body, where it would get warmth. Also, when you are on the computer for a long period of time, your circulation gets sluggish and the warm blood doesn't move much. A mouse hand warmer would be ok, it would make it warmer for sure.

I have not heard of any but I would suggest going to a larger computer store and test driving a few.

Do some along searching as well, Newegg.com may be a good place to start.

You might want to check out a gaming mouse.

They have extra functionality and seem to be a bit bigger than a traditional mouse.

You also might want to explore a track ball.

They make some that look pretty big and they seem to go high up so maybe one of those would be your best bet.
