I recently discovered the problem to my lag was I didn't havea video card ahhahahha (lol). Anyway my cousins neighbor (hes a computer tech guy) is going to sell me a X1950 Pro for $150 bucks, still in box, he took it out to make sure it worked and put it back in box. Is this a good deal? Its a X1950 Pro 256mb, not sure the bit interface or the producer (saphire, etc) but I know it's an Radeon. Is this a good deal? Its probably one of these video cards:

Also, I really DON'T care about mail-in rebates or the total amount I could save purchasing it online (like 10$ or something with that mail-in rebate, shipping not included). I'm looking for a BUY-IT-NOW card and this looks like a decent buy. Requesting any/all input. I'm probably going to buy it but is it worth it?

That's a damn good mainstream card. In case you don't like it, I'll take it.

Check it out here:

I in elementary words see the AGP version of the Visiontek ATI Radeon X1950 professional on newegg, no PCI coach. The X1950 is a robust card. at the same time as it replaced into first released on October 17 2006 it replaced into contained in the sub-$2 hundred decision. i ought to recommend getting a extra moderen ATI HD style. The X1950 professional will play all computing device video games decently once you've sufficient power to run it.

It's worth it. It's a decent card. Much better than what you've got now. LOL Personally, if I was buying a graphics card, I'd get something from nVidia, but that's just my personal bias. The X1950 will do the job for you and you're getting it from someone you have connections with who would probably even help you install it and set it up if you need the help.

i would try wagering him to go a little bit lower, since the retail value is 150 -160$, i mean if its used then it should be cheaper, i would recomend nvidia because ati isnt doing so good in the business, but hey thats my opinion, also, u should check if ur mobo has pci xpress x16, i also would recomend you buying it new, becuase the used card, might be broken, or it might be overheating
