I bought a ..."D"? mouse from wal-mart about a week ago, it worked fine for about two days, but ever since then its been working on and off... sometimes it works and sometimes it dont... i thought it might be wrong drivers but it clicks, scrolls and stuff... but it just wont move... whats up w/ it?

It is a wireless mouse, and if it keeps up i'll just take it back and buy one from logitech.com

1) Are the batteries good? Yes - the mouse is new - but it wouldn't be the first time they shipped one with weak batteries. Throw a couple of new Duracell's in there and see how that works.
2) How does it behave on another computer? If it is the same, then the mouse is bad. If different, then the port on the computer may be having problems.
3) Is it a USB mouse? If so, try another USB port and see if the symptoms change.
4) Have you re-synced the mouse and base unit? Usually press button on base, then small button on bottom of mouse.
5) Are there any other sources of interference near by (ie other wireless devices, etc)?
6) What kind of surface is it on? Even if an optical mouse, the surface colors and textures may be affecting it. They do make mouse pads for optical mice. Even try normal mouse pad and see if it makes a difference.
7) If none of above, then high probability that the mouse is hosed.

Well your first problem is that you bought it from Wal-mart. Wal-mart gets the stuff no one else wants...thats how they can sell stuff for "Everyday low prices!". It it is wireless try checking the batteries, and then if the receiver is near any other wireless stuff (like a wireless router) try moving it away from it. Somethimes wireless signals can interfere with each other when they are close together.
If it is wired try checking the connection. Sometimes the plugs tend to creep out of their port, if that doesn't work go to the manufacturers website and download the latest driver. The driver on the disk is normally the latest driver when the product first appeared on the market (and knowing Wal-mart, that could have been 2000 or so).
If all that doesn't show any results i would take it back and get a refund. then go to best buy and buy a mouse from wither Logitech or Microsoft. Might be a little more expensive but with computers you tend to get what you pay for.

Mouse's are quite sensible, i think of if it grow to be hurting her she could provide up. advantages her with nutrition, for no longer being stupid on the wheel. get rid of the wheel for an afternoon and notice if she gets the message. If all else fails, purchase a mouse helmet or get a padded wheel.

Simply return the mouse to Walmart. I believe they will give you store credit though.

Sounds like there's a loose wire in there somewhere. My friend works at WalMart and she told me that WalMart will take it back, no questions asked, so go get a new one.
