Hi. I have a rather old PC, an HP A350n. I currently have a P4 2.8ghz with HT. I was wondering since this is an old PC, can I find a 3.2 ghz processor with HT that will work for my PC? Will it be expensive?

These are my current Mobo Specs.

I purchased a 6 connect 2.0 usb card(4 ext. & 2 internal),since my older system has 1.1 USB.The card purchased from e-bay new said I could connect the 2 internal to the front ports on my computer. Is it possible? I also bought a external 2.0 USB 80G hard drive and a external 2.0 DVD writer. My system has 1.1 USB and thus the reason for the card purchase. Can anyone tell me if this will allow me to use the new devices I bought? Also will I be able to connect to the front USB sockets? The computer is a Compaq 2.7 gig w/512ddr memory, and 40 gig hard drive.

hey there,
my motherboard supports only agp 4x :(
but found 2 graphic cards that says it supports AGP 8x/4x :)
they both DDR SDRAM, so does it matter what type? like pc2100 pc2700? or do they support all ddr sdram motherboards?
im just was wondering if they both of these 2 cards will work
and what would be a better choice :)

Okay, we all know the "disappearing gig" act of any large hard drive and are accostomed to it. I know it has something to do with formatting but have never really understood it.

Why does a 400 gig external harddrive lose 30 gigs when installed on a system? Why does a 30 gig iPod only have 22 gigs of storage? Is it even POSSIBLE that the OS to run a harddrive is 30 gigs?? I find that incredibly hard to believe. So where do all those gigs go? Thanks!

I've just got a Geforce 7600 GS (AGP) for my computer and tried to install it. Unfortunatley my monitor cannot pick it up. The fan works so power is getting to the monitor. If anyone knows where I am going wrong or if they know where to get a hardware installation manual from the web it would be appreciated

My Flash memory stick has stopped being recognized by my PC. Whern I activate the removable storage display in the Computer Management Console, it shows a red circle with a white cross next to the device. I can't delete the device because it says "Only 'Not present' libraries can be deleted" How can reset the PC to recognize the device?
