hey there,
my motherboard supports only agp 4x :(
but found 2 graphic cards that says it supports AGP 8x/4x :)
they both DDR SDRAM, so does it matter what type? like pc2100 pc2700? or do they support all ddr sdram motherboards?
im just was wondering if they both of these 2 cards will work
and what would be a better choice :)

Go for the ATI 9800XT, it will kill the other card.

The Video card has no relation with what kind of System ram you have, so no you won't have 1016 MB of system ram.

The card requires one of these slots:
AGP 8X (0.8v), 4X (1.5V) or Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration (8X/4X)

To confirm if your motherboard supports which agp voltage, you have to check in the motherboards manual it will tell you.

Yes the 9800XT supports shaders up to version 2.0, direct x9.
It doesn't support shader model 3.0 like for example the X1900GT.

Radeon 9800XT should be a better choice.
Your computer's type of RAM does not matter.
Info on the 1.5v or 3.3v is here:

you ought to truly evaluate buying a Nvidia rather of a Radeon. Nvidia for the main area has greater efficient basic video taking part in cards. fantastically interior the severe end region, Nvidia throws Radeon off a bridge.
