I installed a new dvd-rom(#2) and re-installed windows xp(sp2). I re-installed the drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled again, plugged keyboard and moniter in at different times etc. The same usb ports work fine with my printer and camera. I also went into the bios and enabled upnp. computer showed that they were working but when i plug them in and turn on computer the lights for the mouse come on until the boot screen then shut off and don't work. strange though, i could use the keyboard in the bios (although there were no lights working). Please Help

Hi

In device manager I've got "nVidia WDM TVTuner" listed. Does this mean I have a TV Tuner card? If so, how am I able to watch TV on my PC?

Thanks

I would like to make a card reader but this card reader has to read/write 50 SD cards at the same time. Does anyone who know about it or any ideas to make this card reader? The purpose of this card reader is for SD card quality checking. As in this moment, I have to insert cards into the card reader one by one as the card reader can read one SD card each time. If I have to check 1000 SD cards, it is quite wasting a lot of times. Please help!

I have a Gateway PIII 1 ghz 384 ram 20 gig HD small form ATX Intel main board.
I am somewhat competent on installing most hardware and formatting and installing O.S.
With that said, here's my issue. My little 20 gig is going out. Meaning, If I shut off my computer, sometimes it won't boot back up. (old HD)
I tried installing a working 60 gig Maxtor (jumpers set correctly, tested on another Intel system) but my computer just will not recognize it.
Does anyone know a way to correct this or am I stuck to needing to replace with another small HD or will that even work?

I have an eMachines W3410 desktop system, and I want to add a new video card to it, so that I can disable the onboard graphics from using system RAM. I need it in PCI Express. I know that power supply is a factor, since a new card will draw more power. I have a 300W power supply, so what will work best? My other specs include:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (2.2gHz)
512 MB DDR SDRAM (PC3200)
100 GB HDD (7200 rpm)
16x DVD RW

Please help. Thanks to all in advance.

I want to capture video from DVDs and also capture images. What is a good video capture card to buy for this? Preferably something not too expensive. I have a laptop so I need something that will work for a laptop, not a desktop. Thanks!

These DVDs that I have are some that my friend copied from my VHS tapes. I want to make copies of these DVDs for my son because they are his baseball games. I'm not even sure which DVD goes into which slot? I need very explicit details.

I'm not very good at using computer. When trying to download 375 photos onto a cd ,computer seems to say too many won't fit. It sort of says lessen the amount to be put on CD. I thought that I could download as many as possible and then use another CD but it won't let me download ANYTHING. What to do? Using Windows XP, and CD-R 700MB. Any suggestions? Thank you.
