I am assuming there is no AGP slot but have not opened it.

I'm assuming you do have AGP because most motherboards that have integrated video also utilize the AGP standard.

I recommend shutting down, disconnect power and all cables. Install new video card, reconnect all cables and power up. Immediately disable onboard video via your bios settings. You can enter your bios when you startup your machine or reboot. If your monitor doesn't warm up in time to see the post on boot up option to enter the bios you can press the "pause or break" button to pause the computer and allow the screen to show. Look for the post somewhere on the screen. It should say press delete or F2 to enter setup or something like that.

Be careful when making bios settings, you can really screw stuff up or render the computer almost unusable.

Once your in bios you should look for video settings somewhere. Bios tables and stuff like that are very different from Mobo to Mobo so you're on your own here. Just look for integrated graphics or video or similar. Then disable it.

Save and exit bios. Let windows load and install the graphics drivers for your new video card.

If my instructions are not precise then follow the prescribed instructions provided by the new video card manufacturer.

same way you put a Graphics card on a computer without integrated graphics. just put it in the AGP(or Pci express or PCI) slot and start up the computer. it should detect the new hardware right at boot up and use it. also make sure your monitor is hooked up to the new graphics card.

First you will have to see if the motherboard has and AGP or open PCI port (AGP preferred) because I doubt that it will have a PCI-E slot (different and better than either). Then look in your CMOS (BIOS) to see if you can disable the onboard/integrated video. Then, once you determined all that, simply go buy your new Graphics card and install. Boot to CMOS (BIOS) and then disable the onboard and you should be good to go. Hope this helps...

you cant... you need a computer that has a motherboard that has an AGP slot so you can add a video card. if your motherboard has an AGP slot then its very easy. but otherwise you cant :(

Integrated means it is not a changable board they are there as drivers and you cant change them, like sound cards or motherboards.
