I want to capture video from DVDs and also capture images. What is a good video capture card to buy for this? Preferably something not too expensive. I have a laptop so I need something that will work for a laptop, not a desktop. Thanks!

Well that's pretty hard to say right there. Fitting a capture card or installing it at all on a laptop is not possible, because laptops don't have the pci slot or the area to insert them would not work anyway. All I can say is that ether you get a computer specialist to insert a laptop video card with capture built in like the ATI all-in-wonder series or use the USB capture cards on a box ones which I would prefer since there like only 100 dollars and meant to work flawlessly on your situation. Hope this helps!

there's a conflict of what you assert. RCA do not do 720p, that touches HD so PCI-E and HDMI may be required. PCI isn't fee-sensible in this. in case you like RCA, PCI would be suffice or perhaps required because of the fact that it fairly is the minimum to a house Theater before everything. I do sell USB based, i've got not get around to verify those internals they have been in storage.
