Hi

In device manager I've got "nVidia WDM TVTuner" listed. Does this mean I have a TV Tuner card? If so, how am I able to watch TV on my PC?

Thanks
Mike

Actually...probably not. Do check like suggested on the back of your computer but more then likely no. The driver you describe is responable for VIVO (Video In- Video Out). YOu can plug in a VCR, DVD, TV or (depending) a cable/sat box into your computer but it is not a true TV tuner.

Apparently you didn't buy this new or add in a tuner card yourself. If the TV tuner card is still installed you will find a tv cable plug on the back panel of your computer to plug in the antenna or the cable line. You could also plug in a DVD cable or VHS cable to watch movies on your TV. The software driver may be missing since you didn't mention the software. If the card is still in the computer you can download the driver and actually watch TV on your computer. If you don't find a TV cable plug on the back then chances are the card was removed before you bought the computer.

ummm......dont go for gtx 8800 rite now......wait for some time and let direct 10X cards be launched in the market as now most of the upcoming games will run on direct 10X......if u buy it now it will be waste of money and for tv tuners.....the best option is pinnacle tv tuner with video capture and FM....it offers high class viewing....it cost around Rs.2700....i am using it currently and its a value for money

If your nVidia card is populated with the stuff, and you hooked an antenna or Cable TV signal to the input connector, you could tune channels!

Look at the back of the computer if you see it just connect the TV cable to it.

sounds like you do. there should be a spot in the back of your PC that allows a coaxle hookup (cable). check to see if you have any tv software on your computer, you need something to process the signal

you should be able to... just check the back of your PC for a cable jack... just connect a cable line to it and download some software for it
