only supports agp 8x...

Ok the card supports the following agp bus voltages:
AGP 8X (0.8v), 4X (1.5V) or Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration.

I'm assuming you only have an AGP 4x slot since you really need to know if this card supports 4x.

YES it does, and at AGP 4x the voltage is 1.5v.

If you know your motherboard supports AGP 4x then this card will fit.
To make sure your motherboard supports AGP 4x, then get the model name and go on the manufacturer's site and search for it , you will find the specifications of your motherboard. And that will tell you for sure if AGP 4X is supported by your motherboard.
