Gateway Notebook works great, except when I try to awake notebook from Sleep mode. Always comes first windows logon in screen and then inmediatly blue screen without error messages, then computer reboot automaticly. Alrady I update graphics software, upgrade memory, but the same

My Dell Optiplex GX260 will not power on. When I press the power button, it turns yellow/orange right away. I can open the CD ROM drive, but thats it. I cant get anything to display on the the screen. What should I do? I have opened it up, and I do not see any loose wires. It was working fine the other day.

I just installed a graphics card (Radeon 9200 SE). The color is messed up, its not showing green so everything has a purple color thats hurting my eyes. I have not yet tried installing the drivers from the manufaturer, i'm gonna try that now but in the mean time I welcome any helpful suggestions.

I cant use my onboard graphics card because the connection is not working. (Thats why I installed the graphics card in the first place)

I have a AGP 6600gt
When I play a game it plays for 5mins and then the screen goes all funny coloured and the PC freezes.
So now when I restart the PC then the are white doted line going from top to bottom in goups of 4 on the screen during the memory scan. And then when it gets to the black windows bootup screen with a running bar at the bottom the line change to blue. After that the LCD monitor says no signal.
So I went to safe mode and tried system restore same story, but then I uninstalled the nvidia drivers via control panel the lines did not go away but it detected a new device, I then installed the nvidia drives again it installed but, when it got to the part were the screen swithes off and switches on the screen just went off for ever.

My PC wont boot to OS. It will just show the startup and right before it should show the Windows XP display screen it just stays gray and the busy light indicator never flash. I tried booting the pc in safe mode but same thing happened it will just stay on gray screen doing nothing.

My PC has two hard disks and each disk has two partitions. The Secondary slave disk works fine and the PC can recognize the partition but the primary just shows how big the whole drive is.

I tried reformatting and re-installing the OS but I cant continue since it says it cant recognize the partition on the first hard drive. It prompts that I have to delete the partition on the first drive and create a new one so I can re-install XP which I avoid as much as possible since it contains important data. Is there a way to salvage the files there before I create a new partition? Or perhaps a device that could do that?

So i have bought a rechargable mouse,the sort that sits in a cradle.In the instructions it says if your mouse runs under PS2 mode you need to turn off your computer and remove the existing mouse but what does this PS/2 mean.All I know is that my existing mouse and keyboard are wireless and have a little box that is plugged into the USB.Many thanks for any help.
