If you've got onboard sound on your Plll, you are lucky because you only need to download the driver. Check the rear of your PC case. If there is a microphone and speaker jack there, you already have onboard sound and just need the driver. It should be available in the website of you motherboard manufacturer.

If there are no mic and speaker jacks at the back, you have to buy a PCI soundcard (assuming you have a vacant PCI slot). Install the driver first, shutdown, then plug in the sound card.

Your PC will work miserably on XP w/ only 128Mb RAM. Add more RAM. My Plll-500 works great w/ 3x128Mb RAM.

You dont download sound card... they are hardware.
But for sound drivers, the manufacturer's website should have them, browse it. If not, just google up "sound drivers"
look for "realtek" or "Creative lab"
They might not be compatible with ur computer, but worth a try if the Manufacturer's site does not have it.
