I was wondering if there was a car charger for my laptop because my batttery goes out in like 5 mins.If you can give me a web site and a price.

I installed a cd/dvd-ram drive almost 7 months ago. But now it won't even read dvd-roms, much less audio cd's. I tried using a cd laser lens cleaner, but still it won't "read" my cd's. When I open the cd-ram file through "My Computer" (I have Windows XP), there appears NOTHING; as if there were no cd/dvd at all. What could be the problem? Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would help me a lot. The last thing I want to do is to take it to the pc repairman again. :(

I have a macbook pro, lithium-polymer battery.

Does the computer draw power from the supply cord when plugged in, or does the supply cord feed the battery where the computer still runs itself from the battery?

If you know in general that will help too. Thanks.

okey. my speakers always worked but one day they just stoped. i dont know how this happened. i tried everything and i just dont know b/c i dont know much about computers.
i tried the sound test and that worked.. so i know my speakers work and when i recieve IMs i hear a beep noise. When it comes to anything else like when im playing music or DVD i cant hear anything.

Please help.

my keyboard turns off and my mouse moves with a LONG delay! (I have a laptop that is docked on a docking station) If I use the laptop touch-pad while it is on the docking station, it works no problem, same with the keyboard of the laptop while on docking station, but the external mouse and keyboard don't work correctly unless I completely restart my computer again. So my question is, anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

the resolution is 1280x1024 but when i put the menu button it says 640x480 60hz but i have the same lcd monitor on another computer and on the menu it says 1024x768 60hz how do i make it higher

I put the disk in (any given DVD) and it runs to read the disk, but it doesn't detect any disk. It is a CD and DVD drive, so it should see it, but nothing shows up and nothing plays. PLEASE HELP ME!

1) I fixed and installed an additional 80gig harddisk on my computer with the already existing 10 gig and it started running very slow, what do i do to speed the system up?

2) How do i configure my system to open new applications in a smaller windows when i click "open in a new window"? it opens in a new window actually but the size is still covering the whole window as if maximised. please how do i reduse the size, its wasting a lot of time waiting for an entire website to finish downloading before you could do any other thing.

My Sound Card doesn't work anymore and its very old, so I decided to remove it until I get a modern one.

Now how do I enable it so that I can plug in the speaker wires on the motherboard? I did this and there was no sound input available.

I installed AC97 and it says that it cannot start, I reinstalled it and still... C-Media still has the same problem, or i guess there both the same.

When It was working, it was in the input, but when I play a sound file, I hear nothing.

So how do I get my sound working? Any recommendations?
