when you say MB do you mean space on your hard drive, because mb usually refers to the RAM MEMORY...... which is not the same thing. if it is the hard drive space, then you have some major need for a new hard drive.... say about 100-200 GB for average home users....
if it's the RAM card MB deficient issue, then upgrade (add) more RAM via a new card (it goes into the inside of your computer).
also, make sure you are compressing your files to save space like this: my computer>c drive>properties>under general tab, check 'compress....to save space' allow index also....if you've not done this ever, it will take a long time... just set it (OK) and walk away for an hour or so.....

Its your disk. You need a disk cleanup. An alert at the bottom right tab should pop up. If you try to download or install anymore programs theres a good possibillity its goin got show up. And when it does, click on it and follow the directions.
If that dosent work you may just have to purchase a new hard drive.

Hi Arnold,
Empty your recycle bin then start deleting anything you don't need then empty the recycle bin again.
Delete some system restore points. To delete older restore points, but leave the system restore turned on: Open My Computer, right click the drive in question/Properties/Disk Cleanup/More Options/System Restore/Cleanup.
Buy another hard drive.

1: Add an extra hard drive.
2: Go through your computer deleting files that you KNOW you don't need.
3: Empty your internet cache and history.
4: After all that, run a registry cleaner.

in case you have a Dell, some have the two hard drive partitions switched for some unknown reason (giving one partition like, 8 gigs, and the different like, 60) if it is so, i'm not sure what the final answer for that's, yet you may start saving records in the different partition (disk D)

Turn off System Restore. It's probably taking up a third of your hard drive.

Read this article and download then run the tool (no install required). Once the tool is running, sort processes by memory see what is using up your memory:
