I wanted to put some of my photos on myspace, but I need a scanner. I dont really know what it is because im new to myspace. can you tell me what it is and where to find it?

A scanner is a peripheral device that attaches to your computer. It scans photos and turns them into files and it can scan documents as well.
You would be better off finding a friend who has one, or going to a drug store / photo store that can scan your pics and put them on a disc for you.
Worst case lay the photo down and take a picture of it with a camera phone and then email the pic to a regular email address on your computer yahoo gmail hotmail etc download it to your hard drive and then the file will be accessible to you to upload onto MySpace.
