hi, i just bought comp recently. now noticed that all my usb port is not hi-speed.

its just keep giving me the same msg when i plug my external HD
the error msg is Hispeed inserted into a Non Hispeed..
but i check the device manager
its say mine is usb2.0

i check the bios and its is already on enable status

what could be the problem?
i check all my six usb port..
and they say keep saying it non hispeed..

is there something i forget to do??

i try the external HD on my old com and
its is working fine

is there some kind of drivers i need to get??

when i delete something it gives me this error (Cannot delete (folder_name): Data error ( cyclic redundancy check)), is my recycle bin full? because is not on my desktop, and i dont know how can i get it back, so, can u help me solve this problem?

1- When it is due out?

2- I want the $1300 current Macbook with 1G Ram and 80 GB hard drive and a dvd burner. If i wait for the newer Macbooks will their prices be high cuz they are new? Will i still be able to get a new macbook w/ the specs listed above for around $1300-$1400?

3- Is that enough RAM for Leopard?

4- I will need a student office software but I dont want to spend the $150 if I can avoid it. I heard good things about Neo Office for Mac and I'll consider downloading that for free. But will that be a problem for school? If my professor makes a powerpoint using Microsoft Office can I open it using Neo Office on my Mac? What about word documents? Can I type a paper in Neo office and send it to my professor who has Microsoft Word? Or will he have a problem accessing it correctly?

5- What is new other than Leopard and that time machine thing?

6- Is the processor going to be new? If so, how far advanced beyond the current core 2 duo?

i only have 384 mb of ram on my compac presario 2002 w/ a turion 64. It took me about 25 minutes to post this question from startup. Where is the best place to go an how much to get adequate ram? how much is that?

I don't have any spyware or virsuses and have plenty of memory. the computer is clean

I have a Dell Photo 924 All In One Printer, and I can't put it back together. I called Dell but my warranty expired and I didn't know it. I had a paper jam so I had to take the printer apart to get to the paper jam. I unscrewed the part with the scanner on it, but it's still loose. When I put the power cable in the printer and plug it up, it comes on, goes right back off, and won't come on. I also took off the part the paper goes on at the top. If you could find a diagram for me or step-by-step instructions on how to put it back together, that would be helpful. Thank you...

I've been trying to print something I have to sign for my state tax return, and I CANNOT get it to print. When I first started, it printed the first page (with the instructions) but not the second or third. Every time I would try again it would get stuck at the second. It says something about not being able to establish communication with my printer. It's plugged in, hooked up to the computer, I turned it off then on, opened and closed it, and I tried several other things troubleshooting told me. I closed other programs, I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. Still the same thing. It will print from Word documents but not from the Internet.
Can anyone help?

Dear all,
I have recently upgrade my display driver (on board intel display card) and somehow it return "Display not supported". I have tried to restore/fix Window XP and I got my display back and quickly change it back to lower resolution. After I restart, the problem come back again, what should I do?
I tried to hit F8 but can't get into the safe mode.
Shall I do the same restore Windows XP and just remove the program from Intel that contains the driver? Please help!

All of a sudden there is no sound coming out of my speakers. The speakers are on and the volume is turned up, but I still don't hear anything. I hear a buzzing sound, so I switch speakers out and I can't hear anything out of those speakers either. I did troubleshooting and everything appears to be in working order...volume and everything is fine. I don't know what could be wrong, help.

What could be the problem???

I have checked the obvious; cables, power cord, outlet, tried the power switch - nothing!! Is there some kind of circuit breaker within the unit? Is there any function under normal operating conditions that would cause this breakdown? Are there any methods to reset. This thing will not respond to anything. I don't understand the breakdown, it don't get used often and worked fine the day before. Thanks Lee
