i want to install a geforce 7600 GT Fatality Edition into a very very cheap motherboard supporting pci express 16x. i would be happy to know a motherboard [cheap] that supports pci express 16x, sata, a cheap but good decent processor.i would be happy if i could know about a cheap motherboard supporting agp 8x, sata, decent processor[cheap] if the 7600 gt fatal.. exists as a agp 8x. Also tell me good mid range very very cheap graphics card on agp 8x or Pci-e 16x and its cheap motherboard.

I have the PS and most of the components and want to make sure they are all working. Can I provide power to the hard drive, DVD drive, motherboard prior to startup? Or should I have everything hooked up before I flip the switch?

I just cleaned my processor fan ang heat sink as it was clogged with dust. After i put everything back together the processor fan is coming on every 10-20 minutes or more if the computer is used. It is even coming on during the start up process. This did not happen before cleaning. Is there any chance that i will need to replace the termal paste or have i done something else wrong?

By business I would generally use Microsoft applications and some small design packages. Home use would be internet and possible to watch DVDs. Anybody recommend one or several?

Price range is as cheap as possible without being so cheap that it's crap!

I bought a game the chronicles of Narnia, I installed the game but was told I could not run it without a graphics card pixel 1.1v shaders. I bought a radeon graphics card have installed it in the correct way as there is only one slot it can go into but my computer is not picking the hardware up when I restart computer and I plug the monitor into it and cannot get anything. The graphics card is an atiradeon9250. Can anyone help?

Okay, here's the thing, this is my mom's computer I'm trying to work on, and it was working fine yesterday. However, now when I try to boot, it gets to the XP loading screen, it goes away like it's about to load the OS, and then it just cuts off and starts over, saying "Windows failed to load properly", and then gives me the options of "Safe Mode", "Safe Mode w/Networking", "Safe Mode w/Command Prompt", "Last Known Good Configuration" and "Start Windows Normally".

I've tried these all, and it can't even boot into SAFE MODE. Help?

I will soon be comming into about €1000 as im giving my dad my acer aspire. Its pretty good but you know guys they want the next best thing. Once i get the money i intend to put 500 towards it so thats a total of €1500 ($2000) I would go for XPS but im not too fond of dell.
If it had say enough power to play Supreme commander that would be perfect, Sooooo 3-3.5 ghzs (dual core if possible) and a good graphics card to match. I dont mind the ram too mjuch as i can upgrade that. (1-2gb)

Any sugestions???

I have tried putting my computer into safe mode but this does not work as I don't think it get to this point. I have an initial screen which allows me to get into BIOS setup or network boot but this is all. After this screen disappears a screen comes up with a cursor flashing in the left corner and nothing else.

I have just moved my computer and disconnected all the leads and reconnected them all back.Turned it on and the red seems to have disappeared. Any ideas? I have not knocked the colour changes and have not dropped the machine on transfer. Please help.

I have AMD athlon 3000+, 1GB 400mhz ram which works on dual channel(actually 800 Mhz), onboard NVIDIA 6100 256 MB, The board is a performance board from gigabite-800 fsb, i run Win XP 64 bit. I have problems playing Splinter cell(all versions), Hitman blood money, Half-life episode 1, all good graphx games....u name it even demo's wont work. Though the miniumum system requirements are compleat(My system specks are quiet high than the minimum and sometimes exeed recomended) the system wont extract good FPS even is all settings are set to low and in lowest resolution. Auto detect setings set all seting set to high details(generally). Overall the system is performing 1/10th its performence 3D MARK scores are only 660.
