I found an inkjet cartdridge installation manual and there is written in the "step 2" that I should take a knife and cut the "orientation posts".

The image is blurry and I don't know what to cut...

Please explain to me what are "orientation posts"??

Orientation posts prevent you from installing the cartridge in the wrong location. Are you trying to install a different model cartridge in your printer. If you are it probably won't work, there are pins that contact on the back of the cartridge that the printer uses to spray the ink correctly. If the pins don't line up the printer won't work, and will tell you to install the correct cartridge. I hope this helps.
