Ok ..something happen to my sony pc and i CANT get back into windows.it all started..I felt my pc was lagging so i opened task manager and closed everything going down...then a little window poped up saying that my computer was shutting down in about 15 secs i think(i have gotten this before and nothing happen) so finally when it was getting ready to shut down another window read windows is shutting down..saving settings.it looked frozen..i mean how many savings does it have to save?.so i held the power button until the pc shut down ( i guess i forced it to shut down while it was saving).when i turned it back on..HELL started...i got a black screen with the text "windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt \system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Please re-install a copy of the above file"...i got my cousin to try and fix it..he somehow got that file fixed..but then when we restarted pc..it said another file is corrupt..and it kept going w/ corrupt files!HELP

Should I remove the Windows Updates..
I don't know what it's doing..
And without them, My computer can function well..
Does it fill up the drive space...
I certainly don't know what they're doing..
Are they really very important?
Do u use them?

My Kodak Easy Share printer is not working! I've had it for three years and all of a sudden I can't print my pictures. I edit my photos on the computer and print them from there. I have always done this and now I just don't know what to do. I click the 'print' button, and the light flashes that says there is no paper. But the paper is in there! My sister told me to feed the paper through so I tried that. It worked once and nothing since. The paper feeds through and then that 'no paper' light blinks and no photo comes out. And even worse then just that, the printer keeps making noises like something is happening, but nothing is! I don't know what to do and am completely desperate. Can somebody please help me?!

Like multi pitched electrical (hard to describe). Like different pitched operating sounds that are louder than before. Is the motherboard going to fry on us soon? The fan sounds like its operating okay.

I hardly use my printer so the ink went dry. I know, the way to prevent this from happening is to use it once a week and that is not an option. Is there any brand of ink that will not get dry?
Or, if I take out the ink cartridge if I am not using it, will that prevent the drying out? I am talking about weeks and maybe
months in between use.

Does anyone know a website where i can i check out more detailed description of my pc specs??, I've tried tigerdirect.com but i couldn't find my brand. The only thing i know of my pc so far is that it is a Dell Dimension E051 \ Total physical memory: 256.00Mb \ Available Physical \ Memory: 93.55MB \ Total Virtual Memory: 2.00 GB \ Available Virtual Memory: 1.96 GB . That's about it, i don't know much about my "motherboard" but I'am currently trying to upgrade my pc memory so that the softwares i use (Fruity Loops & Acid Pro 5.0) would run better without overloading my cpu. Based on my pc specs what would be the right memory upgrade brand to get??

I am looking for a mixer to use with my podcasting station that I am getting set up and am a little confused on what I should by. I'm not to sure on wether to by an analog, or a digital analog,or what. I know that I want it to have a least 4 inputs and be able to connect to a computer through a USB port. Some other features that would be nice would be that it is not overly complicated but can have enough functions to fine tune. By the way, I plan on having at least 3 mics plugged into it and room for other misc. devices I might want to add later. If you could help me pick out a mixer for my podcasting needs, then thanks!
