if you are on Windows XP you can right click on the my computer icon, and look each of the tabs for a button called device manager... click that button and you will see all hardware and what brand it is categrorized

Do the following:(using Windows)
1.Click on start>My computer
2.Top left side>View system information
3.Click on the Hardware tab on top
4.Click on Device Manager
5.To find the video card doubleclick Display adapters
6.To find the sound card doubleclick Sound,video,and game controllers

Right Click "My Computer" select "Manage" Then Choose "Device Manager"...

WIN ME/98

Right Click "My omputer" select "Properties" then search for the Hardware Tab

go to start, programs,accessories,system tools and then to system information. there you will be able to see the name of what you are looking for.

press windows key and pause key ..

you wil see system properties ..ther go to hardware ..then device manager ..and you wil see all hardware attached to your pc..
