This is a hardware error. Sorry to say but your computer is a goner. Take it to a computer repair shop, maybe they can do something with it.

How old is the system?
maybe check all connections are in nice and tight maybe be loose connection.
Also at back system is there a little switch near where the power lead goes in it swtich between 220 & 240 (Or 2 differnt numbers) if so what number is shjowing???

YOUR COMPUTER IS NOT A GONER!!!!
just check on the back of the computer where the screen cord connects to the outlet thingy, also check to make sure the monitor electricity cord thingy is in the wall outlet.

Make sure your monitor is turned on. I have at times accidentally hit the turn-off button on mine.

you mean the monitor wont turn on- check the monitor cables-
if the computer is on and the monitor is connected- well then you have problems, but check the monitor first

is there a beep sound you hear from it?...well my computer sometimes go like that...it wont star and it produces a beeeeeeeeep!!....if it is....it must be a key board error....try to reconnect all of the plug behind your CPU....hope this would help!!

Check monitors cable, maybe itss not plugged well, if you sure its okay, maybe your VGA or memory is damaged.

you should check your smps ...and not giving power to mother board ..or plug out all power cable n then again plugin ..
it might work ..
