Or do you close the paper tray when not in use to avoid dust?

I am talking about the paper tray where paper is fed into the printer.

I am working on a business proposal to bring in short power cords for people who have to travel around with their laptops everyday. They might be students or working professionals. I find my laptop power brick already have a pretty long cord. It is a chore to fold my 3 feet long power cord and try to find a space to squeeze it into the bag after every meeting. I thought the ladies might find this appealing as it means less weight and better space management. In the event you need a long cord during the meeting should your batteries die on you, there is always a friend or colleague to rely on to bridge the situation. Let me know your thoughts. Appreciate it and this will determine if I put this up for sale on my website. Thanks.

BTW, this reminds me of the show 'Man in Black'. If the cord is too short, just move the table nearer the outlet. Be the best of the best of the best. : ) Cheers.

I am a photo buff as my digital camera is my best friend. I frequently upload & burn my personal movies, lounging and surfing at cafes, burning my photos & copying them to friends, watching movies ( so good audio is important), and using the computer to call overseas so a good mic is also important. If the better choice is a Mac, is the black better bec. it does not leave fingerprints or a white Mac? I read some reviews that the white Mac esp. its keyboard easily gets dirty? My main concern is the weight and size but if the other has more features with a little difference in price, I would go for that. Is there anyone who is a pro at comparing both features of both models given what I intend to do with my laptop? I need your valuable unbiased advise! ( meaning I hope you donot work for either Apple or Dell :) THANK YOU !

Though it's not quite swing, my laptop somtimes clicks aproximately eight times in a sort of up-beat rythm; i.e. "and one, and two, and..."
It also beeps at times. It's all definately coming from the machine itself rather than the sound system.
What's going on in there?

Well i bought a Dell Dimension e520 about 3 months ago with a Pentium D 805 dual core, 1 gb of ram, an Nvidia 7300 LE video card, a 150 gb hdd, etc. Well anyways i want to upgrade my processor to a Core 2 Duo e6300 or e6400, I asked Dell about it and they said that my mobo supports Core 2 Duo so i could upgrade it, but thats all they can tell me besides it is at my own risk, and they dont recommend processor upgrades, and all the other crap trying to get me to just stick with what i have or send it back to them to upgrade it so they can charge me. What i want to know is do you think it will be really hard to upgrade this processor, and is it normal for people to upgrade the cpu in Dell comps? Also i need to know if after i install it do i have to change any settings whatsoever? Since it is the same socket (775) and i have a diagram that tells me how to install the new processor, i think it would go pretty good, i just need some advice........Thanks alot :D

I came home from work and I moved my mouse to get on the computer. My comp was loading EXTREMELY slow (there were a couple of window open already that I had left from the night before...Mozilla, WMP) My computer is about 4 years old and it does act pretty slow at times, so that isn't too big of a shock. The links and tabs in the Mozilla browser and WMP browser werent really loading, and the computer was almost completely froze. I restarted my computer from that point. Now when it begins cycle through on the way to loading windows a black screen displays and says "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A hardware/software change may have caused this. If your computer stopped responding or restarted unexpectedly, select LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION". It also gives me options to restart in different safe modes. None of these options work though...a blue screen flashes REAL quick after that says UNACCOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME followed by a brief explan...

(it's a 3.33 GHz Intel Celeron machine with 120 Meg HD, 512 M RAM and windows Vista Home edition.
