My laptop's jazzin' it up.?

Question

Though it's not quite swing, my laptop somtimes clicks aproximately eight times in a sort of up-beat rythm; i.e. "and one, and two, and..."
It also beeps at times. It's all definately coming from the machine itself rather than the sound system.
What's going on in there?

Wow! It sounds like a hard drive or fan problems. Maybe you should take it in to have someone look at it. Best of luck to you.
