Probably not since DVD burning uses virtually all your ram while it is reading from one source and burning to another.

Are you saying burn on an internal and external CD/DVD burner at the same time? My educated guess is no. I've made plenty of coasters. I just leave my PC alone during burn projects. One at a time. But try if if you want to and let us know how it goes.
