Hey, Big time noobe here,
I would like to know what the bigger size I can go to.
Right of now. Its running a AMD XP 1500+ I'm seeing out there like the 3000 and things like that. I want to go bigger so I can build this the most as I can. But I got the AMD XP do to its small and I was not sure how big I can go. not sure and cant tell what MOTHERBOARD I'm useing. Is there a way like of looking on my computer to see what board I'm running?

how do i make my laptop computer stay on, and not cut off automatically.
it is a gateway laptop with wireless interent.

(the reason why i need this, is because i use aol instant messenger, and when i like putting up away messages so people can leave me messages while im gone. then my computer shuts off, and signs me off.)

I just go a dvd burner on ebay which I believe is a sony and I plugged everything in. It came with a installation cd but It has so many files so I don't know which one to download. The burner I got looks like this.

What are the minimum requirements i need to fulfill in order for her to browse and play games on these "childrens" websites. Processer speed, RAM, OS, Video Card, etc... I have a dsl connection and wireless router. And I need a laptop that can have a network card or wireless card added to it. A cd drive would be nice but not exactly necessary. I have never owned a laptop and I have looked at ebay. But, I know nothing about the older laptops and what they are capable of doing today. I am only looking to spend $100 or less. I have a Dell Insprion-B130 With An Intel Celeron Processor, and was thinking about upgrading to Vista from XP. I was just wondering if I wanted to upgrade my Processor to Core Duo, and RAM to 2 Gigs, plus grab a new 100 GB hard drive how much would it cost me. AN estimated guess is all I need. I am using 865chipset and Windows Xp home edition, and yesterday tried to install Creative Live sound card, It didn't work, but when I took that out, my built-in sound stopped working also, I checked everything--sound controllers, volume level, drivers, everything looks fine, except I don't have sound....
Does anyone know about it?

Hi, I just got vista (ultimate 32-bit), and right now I have the geforce 7950gt videocard. It supernice, but being a gamer, I want to get a directx 10 card. My question is since they are relatively new, they are very pricey, So should I wait a few months to get one? Im guessing in a few months the price will drop tremendously and the performence will go way up. But thats all a guess and I could be completly wrong. thanks alot -Nick

i have a mac osx apple powerbook g4 laptop. i have trouble with my screensavers. instead of my screensaver coming on when i go idle my laptop goes into sleep mode. how do i fix this? also, do you know of somewhere i can get free screensavers for a mac?

I am currently running Windows Vista. In the Bios and the cpu test it shows that I have a 5200+. Infact eveywhere I look on the system it shows up as a 5200 with all of the specs. The only place that I can see that it is a 5000+ is under device manager.

What processor do I have? How do I update the driver to show in the device manager that is a 5200?
Please help
