Obviously System # 2 - Faster processor and response and loading speed, RW for DVD can be added, and greater ability to open more programmes at one time. this is a "No Brainer"

Personally, I would go with the AMD system - 64 bit is the way of the future. But it all depends on what you're going to use it for.
