apparently i adjusted the resolution wrong, but i couldnt adjust it back coz the monitor wont show once it enters the system!HELP!

That resolution is not supported by your monitor: the resolution is improper, or the frequency is too high or low.

Restart your PC, and press F8 when you see the PC Logo disappear after startup BEFORE you see the Windows XP Logo. Then choose "Start in VGA Mode". Windows will boot at 640x480 resolution, 68 hertz refresh, and 16 colors (safe for all VGA monitors) so you can restore your prior setting.

Boot the PC in safe mode and then reset the resolution.

haha I did this the first night I got my new videocard!! all you do is reboot and continuously press F8. eventually you will get to the menu, and jsut start windows normally (or if that doesnt work, do the same exact thing and go to safe mode). good luck! -George
