Esp for online retailers. For ex. You bought a 250 videocard from amazon.com and then you switched it with a 20 dollar video card and returned it. Has anyone ever done this? You think you will be able to get away? Since its sucha big company you would think those factory workers getting paid 5.50 an hour really care

I have an alienware computer on standby and waiting to order that is about $4,000. I don't know anything about the guts of a computer and I'm lost with too many options for gaming computers. Should I get my Alienware computer or another brand that is only for gaming (not like the run-of-the-mill all around computers)? My friend had told me about newegg.com and I've checked it out. I have NO clue what most of the components mean. I will mainly use it for World of Warcraft anf Guild Wars. I am going to buy the game "Battlefield 2142", but i found one of the compatible video drivers in the system requiremtn was NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or more. Unfortunately, my computer has NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, and I am not sure if my computer has a NVIDIA card or not. Because of this, i went to the NVIDIA website to update my video driver, but somehow, it does not work. It said something like "it cannot find any drivers that are compatible to your hardware". Can anyone tell me what kind of problem is this and how to solve it?

disk has a lot of information I don't want to format because I don't want to lose any files. It also says that 'A:/' is not accessible. I have already troubleshooted the disk drive and it is working properly. If I do a Quick Format on my disk will I lose any information from my disk?

I bought this computer 2 years ago and I just realized that the computer has an integrated video card on the motherboard itself. Along with that, I just bought a new video card (PCI) and was wondering what the procedure is to install this new video card. Do I need to uninstall the old video card or does the new video card automatically override the integrated video card?

I have a IBM and there's a red thing in the middle called the trackpoint. It's like a mouse for the laptop. For some reason the trackpoitn won't work and neither will the left and right click buttons that go with it. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
p.s. it is not disabled I checked!
