I have a a705w computer sitting next to me, and i want to restore the computer like its brand new, start all over....but i dont have a disk!!
Can i do this with out a disk, use my emachines one, or like..were can I get one?

I believe the asker means recovery rather than restore.
If you don't have the recovery CD that restores the computer to the factory state, there is normally a recovery partition on the hard drive.
From start, check under programs, accessories, tools and there should be a program containing the word "recover" or "recovery" depending on your specific computer. Open it and go from there.
Remember all data and programs will be erased and only the original factory installed stuff will be there.

Ofcourse you can do this. However, you have to create a restore point when your computer is in good shape. So lets say you just reinstalled everything on your pc and it runs without any problems that's when you have to create a restore point before you get into any trouble. In order to create a restore point follow these steps:
1) click on "start"
2) Go to "All Programs"
3) Then go to "Accessories"
4) Now go to "System Tools"
5) Pick "System Restore"
6) Now check "Create a restore point"
after this it is just piece of cake..basically follow the instructions online and you wont have to worry for future crashes or problems.

You can order one from HP for $$! HP put the restore program in a partition on the hard drive of your current computer.
