I can do just about everything else on my computer, but earlier the left click of my mouse stopped workin and i dunno why...help!

get a new one at walmart lol its only $10 or $15 max lol

If it's a mouse with a ball on the bottom, flip it over and figure out how to open it and remove the ball. Be careful not to lose the ball. Clean out all the gunk inside with a can of air or gently using a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol.
If it has a wire, disconnect the wire connecting it to the computer, and plug it back in. You may need to restart the computer.
If it's wireless, try disconnecting and reconnecting the base station wire. Also hit the reset or reconnect buttons on both the mouse and the base station in the order that your instruction manual says. Replace any batteries in it, making sure to put them in the right way.
For any type of mouse, try reinstalling any drivers or software that came with the mouse.
If all else fails, buy a new mouse. They typically last for 3-8 years of use, so if yours is old, it's probably just worn out.

You might try and take it apart. it's a simply procedure and you find that something just knocked loose. If you know that's not the problem, such as dirt in the inside,then youll have to purchase a new mouse, i guess.

Try unplug and replug in your mouse, reboot the pc to see if it works. If it doesn't, you need a new mouse. Mouse doesn't last forever and they do break down.

go to the control panel and click on mouse if the mouse is ok you can fix it there

try to plug it in while turned off then when staring click all butons on mouse
