what video card is going to let me play games like R6V at medium settings, GRAW, etc and those scary video card killing games coming out soon, for a reasonable price (under 350 or so) because my current card, the once formidable x850xt cant even play vegas :(

The Nvidia GeForce 7 series is an excellent for your price range.

you are better off going $100 more for for a shiny new Nvidia Geforece 8800. With the video card killing games like Crysis may require Direct X 10.

I would recommend looking at a recent article in Tom's Hardware web site. They list the best cards for different price ranges. Tom's Hardware is the most respected computer web site. I would recommend the x1950, which is in your price range.

if your looking for nvidia then do anything in the geforce 7 series and above and i would recomend the nvida 7900 gs, gt, or gtx, or nvidia 7950, if you get these you'll probebly b able to play recent games at high settings
