that sells flat screen monitors at a discount - I"m talking like $50ish... ebay isn't cutting it and neither is Best Buy, CompUSA, etc. HELP - I want a monitor but I'm broke!!!

i have a samsung syncmaster 470 BF and over night it stopped working. when i try to press the on/off button, the led turns on and then turns off. i have tried all the instructions in the user's manual and the troubleshooting section but nothing seems to work. i don't understand how could it stop working suddenly. all the cable are connected but i haven't touched them the day before so nothing could have happened. what am i supposed to do? (this is another computer i am using)

For about 2 weeks now we have been having problems with our Advent T9106 pc. It wont boot up everytime we switch on..it is 3 weeks past our year guarantee (wouldnt you know) anyone any idea what the problem could be???and how expensive would it be to get fixed...thanks

I have a dell c521 vs HP a1650e for around same price. Which would you invest in? The dell has slightly larger harddrive, but hp comes with bigger monitor and free printer.

i bought my first ever pc last feb it's an acer aspire 3610 laptop. the first year is almost up, and i have been asked if i would like to guarantee it for 85 pounds for another year. i am on the the pc for about 22 hours a week. the question is, how long do pc's last before it's time for a change, and are my chances of not guaranteeing, and the money going towards a new one worth the risk.

I have a Dell laptop with a very small hard drive, and can't afford a new one. I have a friend with a spare 80gig desktop hard drive. I'm wondering if I can get a casing for the desktop hard drive and attach it to my laptop with a cable? Will it be compatible? I'm not that cluey....

how can i use backup files?

for example, i have a hard disk.

it has two partitions, c and d.

if drive c will be corrupted or formatted, and i have the backup file for the selected important files in drive c at drive d, can i recover those important fiels using the backup file?

I have a del deminenion 8300 and 2 gbs of ram, i do graphics on my computer with photoshop and illustrator and flash n maybe premire every now and then. Now im bout to get into 3D graphics like Maya, Cinema4D and poser 7. i have a Nvidia Geforce 5200 card. I want to know what is the best video card for 3D modeling and my computer?

i have 160 gb harddisc, i have 10 gb primary drive then 120 gb extended drive, after that my 21 gb is unused space. somedays back i maded that space primary disc but i faced windows corruption problem daily so i deleted it. now i want to add it in to extended drive so i will not face any problems without any data lose. is it possible. plese help me i want my 21 gb recovered. if you have any software or know about any plz give answer

It sounds like a simple question, but I bought some "general purpose cleaning wipes" and they always leave streaks! It says on the box they are for keyboards and screens but I can only assume that they are for the glass screens of desktop PCs. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
