Use a microfiber cloth ... like those sold for eyeglasses.
Spray some eyeglass cleaner directly on the cloth ... never onto the LCD.

Best method is to have 2 cloths ... one to apply wet & one for drying & removing streaks.

I've been doing it like this for years & my LCDs remain spotless & undamaged.

Word is don't use some special cleaner. Just take a soft 100% cotton cloth and wipe it down.

Whatever is safe for eyeglasses would be safe for your screen. I would not use anything with alcohol or ammonia, it may cause permanent streaks.
