If your cooling system is working fine, then you can keep your computer running 24/7.

Over time the computer will run slower and restarting will clear your memory. When programs are run, they use up memory which can only be cleared with a reboot so rebooting now and then will keep your system running smoothly.

Hardware wise, you can run it until it breaks and it won't break for years.

Software wise, assuming you're running Windows, it helps to restart every couple of days.
