i wanna build a simple gaming computer and i want to know all the main parts needed not including the basic ones like the mouse and all that but yeah please help or send a link to some website that yall think might help, thanks

For a gaming computer you need:
A high end CPU (preferrably a dualcore)
A motherboard to go with your CPU
Lots and lots of RAM
A huge hard drive
DVD+RW/CD+RW drive
A power supply unit rated for a lot of watts
A kickass graphics card
A high-end cooling system (liquid cooled if you can afford it)
USB/Firewire cards
Ethernet Cards
A soundcard
Speakers. Speakers so big they'll blow the skin right off your body.

1) Case with Power Supply
2) Motherboard
3) CPU (usually bought in combination with the Motherboard)
4) RAM (usually bought in combination with the Motherboard)
5) Hard drive
6) Optical drive (optional but you'll need it)
7) Keyboard
8) Mouse
9) Monitor (LCDs are very inexpensive now)
10) Speakers (optional, but if you ever expect to do anything . . .)
11) Graphics card (Can be part of the motherboard)
12) Ethernet card (if you want to get broadband)
13) Sound card (Can be part of the motherboard)
14) USB Ports (Usually on motherboard)

The parts you need are as fallows:
Mother Board
Video card
Memory (ram)
Hard drive
Sound card
Case (houseing)
Power suppley
CPU (intel or amd)
Heat sink (get an after market, they cool much better)
DVD/ CD/ DVDRW/ CDRW drive(s)
Floppy drive (if needed???)
thats just about it unless you have something else in mind, i just build my system 2 weeks ago, wow its spuer fast :)

go for AMD Athlon 64 x2 (dual core processor)
motherboard,
at least 1gb of RAM
at least 256mb or video card
at 500w of power supply
dvd writer if possible
hard disk lots of memory 250gb will do.
