I have a del deminenion 8300 and 2 gbs of ram, i do graphics on my computer with photoshop and illustrator and flash n maybe premire every now and then. Now im bout to get into 3D graphics like Maya, Cinema4D and poser 7. i have a Nvidia Geforce 5200 card. I want to know what is the best video card for 3D modeling and my computer?
ps. if i might use it for some gaming also

Your limited as Dell uses proprietary hardware such as the power supply, mobo...
You can only install a card that doesn't require the "extra power plug" and doesn't require more power then your power supply can provide it.
You cant upgrade power supply because of the proprietary parts said above.
Many of today's graphic cards are huge, make sure the card you buys fits in your case, as I'm sure your limited there also. (Space)

Final thought, Dell sucks.

Nvidia or ATI .... period.

For professional very very high end performance :
Matrox
(however they often cost thousands of dollars)
