I have tried two different brand-new generic wireless LAN cards, in all slots. One is not detected at all for some reason, neither in the BIOS messages nor in the driver after booting. The other hangs the machine before boot even begins. Running dual P3-750's, have latest BIOS. 100BT LAN card, sound card, modem, TV/Capture card, all work fine in any slot.

Ive just tried to install a webcam and a message came up saying that it couldn't detect a working USB port.
A few weeks ago I tried to set up a Bluetooth connection between my pc and mobile but the dongle wasn't working, I thought it was broken and have ordered a new one but it was obviously that the USB ports on the back of my computer aren't working.
Does it have to be repaired by a pro or is there something I can do myself?

Thankyou.

Hi,
I have a 80gb hard drive, however I want to upgrade to a 250gb hard drive. I want the operating system that is on the 80gb on the 250gb one. So I can sell the 80gb, and carry on where I left off with the old 80gb hard drive. If it involves putting both hard drives into the computer, I will do it, but just need some guidance, Thanks very much in advance folks :)

I just bought a refurbished motherboard is there a way to test if the motherboard is working properly or you just have to see if everything boots up? and if everything boots up fine it means its working?

I am interested in trading in a Dell Insperion 2650 and an Older Compaq model, but I am not sure how togo about this or what value I could expect for them.

When I do so do I just recieve store credit, or does it immediatly apply toward a computer?

I need one that prints directly on individual business cards, not to a sheet of tear-offs. It needs to print nearly edge to edge on them as well. Ideally you would just stack them up like you do in an envelope feed.

Its an E-machines desktop computer model T3306. it is about a year old, when we turn the computer on, it tries to load and gives this message :
intel undi, pxe- 2.1 (build 082)
copyright (c) 1997- 2000 intel corporation

for realtek rtl8139(x)/8130/810x PCI fast ethernet controller v2.16 (041224)

client mac addr: 00 40 CA A9 82 68 GUID : FFFFFFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFFFFFFFFFF
PXE-E53: no boot filename received

PXE-MOF : EXISTING PXE ROM.
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

This is right after it says verify bmi pool data i beleive. and it gets through that step and that is the next step it takes.

When it did this before, I went and pressed F8 and started from the last known good configuration and it loaded. now when i try to get back there, when i press F8, it doesnt even acknowledge that i pressed it. it will work for F2 and F10, but when i press F8 it continues on its regular path as if ive pressed nothing. can anyone help me?
