Is an AMD X2 3800+ equivalent to a 3.0 ghz p4 processor?

Its much better than a 3.0Ghz P4, its dual core for one thing, and its faster to begin with (3800 means its as fast as a 3.8Ghz P4). However a GeForce 6100 will not run that game well at all, you might be able to get the game to actually play on the very lowest of settings, but even then it would lag.

the AMD X2 3800+ is a dual core whilst the P4 is a single core processor. even the AMD 3800+ single core is faster than a P4 3.0ghz.
the Geforce 6100 is a very decent graphics card and can probably run rainbow six vegas at lowest settings (frame rates).
