OK, ive been wanting to build a new computer for myself for a while, and i cant decide on which to chose: a Pentium 4 2.8ghz 521(single core) w/ 1gb ddr2 or a Pentium D 2.66ghz 805(dual core) w/ 512mb ddr2. They would both cost the same (the p4 would come out of this system, replaced with a $50 cpu, and 1gb of ram costs $100. the pd costs $100 and $50 for the 512mb ram) and there are minor drawbacks to each. Which would you chose?

I had a problem with my old computer, but I took out the harddrive and put into another machine. I can find some of the files that I had before, but all the folders that were on the desktop on my old machine are gone. My boyfriend just bought me a new desktop from Dell for x-mas. It's been running perfect for a couple of days now but tonight when I went to turn it on, it turned on and came to the Dell screen just fine but it did not load to the log on screen (the blue XP screen). The screen was lit up but blank black. I turned it off and restarted it and it loaded just fine. If anyone knows why it would do that or anything else, please let me know!

The ink in my black cartridge had finished and I got the cartridge refilled. Quite surprisingly, the blue text is being printed in black and the black text is being printed in blue. I have just installed the black cartridge after refilling. If there is no black ink, why blue text is being printed in black?

This is a strange problem. Have you got any solution? Please suggest.
