If you have just been 'dragging & droopping' files to the CD/DVD then you need to 'Close the Session' when you 'eject' them before another computer can read them.
NB. Don't 'Close the CD' - Closing the CD stops you adding more data.

LAPTOP drive does not recognize your media type.
What type DVD/CD do you have, Plus R or minus R
+R, RW+R or -R, -RW?
Read your Laptop specifications to find out the laptop DVD/CD specifications. Even worse, your laptop might just have a DVD/CD ROM drive. Then you are hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!
