Well, if your budget it high enough, a laptop.
1) Laptop is very versatile. PS3 might have alot of doozy in it, but it is not as versatile as a PC/Laptop.
2) Laptops, carry it around with you anywhere, can use it anytime. Such as an airplane. Try bringing a PS3 on board. Uh oh, you need a tv.
3) If you have a laptop, and not a PS3, at least your safe from those PS3 extremists.

Get a laptop first then you can get a PS3...who knows PS3's might have problems, so it would be better to wait on that first...plus you do more with a laptop..and it comes with its own screen and it's portable..

My brother had the same dilemma...he thought about it for like 2 weeks then he finally decided to get a laptop.
He is very happy with his decision plus ps3 is overrated. I would rather just play teenage mutant ninja turtles on a super nintendo than spend like 50 dollars on a ps3 game.

Get a labtop. Never get a PS3. It is not worth it. Get a Wii. If you like bloody,gorey shooters get a 360.
