It looks pretty cool how they do it, do I have to have certain programs or something to do it, could I do it right here if I wanted?

With Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, you can do exactly what they do in the movies. It may not look as fancy or professional, but you can still do it.

Anything in the picture with the green pigment, it will replace it with the background.

Any area that is that color green is electronically replaced with a background image. Yes, you need a special program or hardware to do that.

that is true thr green screen allows you to replicate a background also a blue screen is the same
